Road Rage Couple Had Toddler In Car During Montgomery County Incident

Two people were arrested in an armed road rage incident on Interstates 695 and 95 in Montgomery and Prince George's counties.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Two people were arrested Sunday morning after flashing a handgun during a road rage incident on Interstates 695 and 95 in Montgomery and Prince George’s counties while a toddler was also in the car, Maryland State Police said.

Eric Alfredo Arroyo, 26, of Apopka, Florida and Courtney Leigh Fisher, 25, of Etters, Pennsylvania were charged with handgun and marijuana possession, police said. A two-year-old child who was in the Mitsubishi was not harmed during the incident, and was turned over to the care of family, police said.

A 911 caller said an occupant of a Mitsubishi Lancer with a Pennsylvania registration pointed a handgun at another vehicle during a road rage incident on Interstate 495 and Interstate 95, in Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties.

Troopers spotted the car in the area of Interstate 695 and Interstate 83 in Baltimore County and performed an investigate traffic stop. Troopers recovered a loaded, .45 caliber, semi-automatic pistol, additional magazines, and 30 rounds of ammunition for the firearm; a loaded, .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol and 100 rounds of ammunition for the firearm and marijuana.

Arroyo and Fisher were charged with multiple counts of unlawful possession of a firearm in a vehicle, and civil possession of marijuana. Both suspects were held without bail.
