Safeway, Whole Foods, Giant: Christmas Hours In Silver Spring

SILVER SPRING, MD — Remembering to stock every ingredient for your Christmas dinner isn't easy. Whether it's brown sugar to glaze the ham, or wine to toast the holiday, there's always something that doesn't make it into the shopping cart. Hey, it happens to the best of us.

Should you need to make a last-minute grocery run, don't panic. Several grocery stores in Silver Spring will be open — at least for a little while — on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Operating hours may vary by location, so it's best to double check with your local grocery store. These are the stores that will be open and closed on Monday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 25.

What's Open On Dec. 24 and/or 25

• Giant Food:
  • On Christmas Eve, stores will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • On Christmas Day, stores will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Whole Foods:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Target:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Safeway:
  • On Christmas Day, stores will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • On Christmas Eve, stores will be open from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• ShopRite:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Americana Grocery of Maryland:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• ALDI:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Trader Joe's:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Snider's Super Foods:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Corner Market & Pharmacy:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
