Silver Spring 7-Eleven Robbed At Gunpoint, 2 Arrested: Police
Two Prince George's County men are facing charges after police said they stole money from a 7-Eleven store in Silver Spring.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Two men are facing charges after police said they robbed a Montgomery County 7-Eleven at gunpoint this week.
Keshawn Forbes and Oghenetega Ogbotor, both 19 and from Prince George’s County, were charged with armed robbery following the Thursday incident at a 7-Eleven, located in the 12200 block of Tech Road in Silver Spring, Montgomery County police said.
According to authorities, the two men entered the store shortly before midnight and attempted to make a purchase. Police said Ogbotor pulled out a knife and approached an employee working behind the counter, while Forbes brandished a gun.

Police said the pair removed an undisclosed amount of money from the cash registers and left the store on foot.
According to authorities, the employee called 911 and provided authorities with a description of Forbes and Ogbotor. Police later found them near the 2200 block of Broadbirch Drive; however, the pair ran away when they spotted officers, authorities said.

According to police, officers found Forbes in the 2301 block of Broadbirch Drive. He had a 9mm handgun on him when officers took him into custody, police said.
With the assistance of K-9 units and a Maryland State Police helicopter, officers later apprehended Ogbotor, who was hiding in a wooded area near the 2200 block of Broadbirch Drive, police said.
In addition to robbery, Forbes was charged with the use of a firearm in the commission of a crime of violence, police said.
Both men are being held without bond, authorities said.
