UPDATE: Silver Spring Man Missing from Assisted Living Facility Found Safe

Montgomery County Police were searching for a man who walked away from his assisted living facility in Silver Spring. He is safe.

UPDATED 12:55 p.m. Monday SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County Police say a Silver Spring man who walked away from an assisted living facility has been located safe and unharmed.

On Friday, Oct. 28, Michael Craig Wilder, 53, walked away from his residence, an assisted living facility at 8301 Baron Street in Silver Spring.

Wilder is described as a white man, 5′ 6″ tall, and weighing 170 pounds. He has graying hair and graying facial hair.

He is believed to be wearing a gray skull cap, a dark-colored denim jacket, black jeans, and dark-colored shoes. He does not have his medication with him. Police and family are concerned for his welfare.
