A Silver Spring man gave thanks last week for winning $50,000 in a scratch-off game; he's not sure what to do with his winnings.

SILVER SPRING, MD — A 26-year-old Silver Spring man is still savoring his pre-Thanksgiving win of the final $50,000 top prize remaining in the Fantasy 5s scratch-off game.
The grateful player, with his friend by his side, claimed the prize at Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore. The lucky winner is a big fan of lottery scratch-off games and very excited about his big win. He has not yet decided what he will do with his windfall.
The lucky scratch-off was the last of seven $50,000 top-prize winners in the $5 Fantasy 5s game, which launched in February. The happy player found his winning ticket at Value Dollar located at 8030 New Hampshire Avenue in Hyattsville.
