SILVER SPRING, MD — A man accused of stealing money from a Silver Spring restaurant was caught on surveillance video, which Montgomery County Police have released in hopes that the public can help identify him.

Authorities say The Daily Dish, located at 8301 Grubb Rd., was burglarized shortly after midnight on Monday. Upon further investigation, detectives determined that the suspected burglar smashed a glass panel to gain entry.

Surveillance video captured the unidentified man standing inside the restaurant before climbing up a ladder. Police said he fled the scene with cash.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about this burglary is urged to call police at 240-773-6710. The county's Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads them to an arrest or indictment.
