Silver Spring Restaurant Is Finalist For WTOP Top 10 Brunches

SILVER SPRING, MD — Do you love the locally-owned restaurants in Silver Spring? One of them is representing the city among the DC area's best food and drink in WTOP's Top 10.
The Silver Spring restaurant Mrs. K's Toll House was chosen as a finalist for Best Brunch in the DC area. Readers and listeners nominated their favorite local businesses in the following categories: Best Burger, Best Pizza, Best Barbecue, Best Brewery, Best Brunch, Best Coffee Shop, Best Ice Cream/Gelato, Best Tacos, Best Bagels and Best Crab.
Mrs. K's Toll House is up against nine other restaurants in the DC, Maryland and Virginia for Best Brunch. The longtime family favorite restaurant first opened in Silver Spring in 1920. The restaurant specializes in traditional American cuisine, including their popular fried oyster benedict and jumbo lump crab cake brunch options.
