Silver Spring Robbery Suspect Sought; Second Armed Robber in Custody
Two women were reportedly robbed by a friend they met at a DC club, say Montgomery County Police.

A man who reportedly assaulted and robbed two women at a Silver Spring apartment is being sought on several charges by Montgomery County Police.
Officers were called to the 1200 block of East West Highway about 3:59 a.m. Nov. 12 on a report that the women were assaulted by two men, one of whom had a handgun.
The victims, ages 21 and 22, met an acquaintance, John Kamara, 27, at a Washington, D.C., club earlier in the evening, then the three drove to Kamaraโs apartment on East-West Highway. Kamaraโs roommate, Abdul Turay 21, became upset with the women, so they left the apartment.

Police say the victims were confronted in the building lobby by both men. Turay reportedly pointed a handgun at the women then fled.
The victims followed Kamara into a parking garage, where he allegedly struck their vehicle with his feet and hands before assaulting one of the women. When the second woman called police, Kamara tried to take away her cell phone. When he was unable to grab the phone, he reportedly took the first womanโs purse, removed her wallet and drove away.
