Snow Closes Montgomery County Government Offices
Montgomery County government offices, and most of its facilities, are closed on Wednesday. Feb. 20, due to inclement weather.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County government offices, and most of its facilities, are closed on Wednesday. Feb. 20, due to inclement weather.
All essential personnel are expected to come in to work as scheduled.
All county facilities — except public safety facilities — are closed.

Ride On is operating on a normal schedule. However, riders should expect delays.
County trash and recycling pickup is canceled. Wednesday's garbage will be collected on Friday; Thursday's garbage will be collected on Saturday; and Friday's garbage will be collected on Sunday. Residents shouldn't put trash cans and recycling bins at their curbs until their pickup day.

The Shady Grove Processing Facility and Transfer Station are closed. The public drop-off areas, as well as the transfer building, are also closed.
