Suspect Wanted In Armed Robbery At Silver Spring Store: Police

Montgomery County Police released surveillance photos of a man they say robbed a Silver Spring store at gunpoint on Saturday night.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County Police released surveillance photos Wednesday of a suspect in connection to an armed robbery that took place Saturday night at a Silver Spring convenience store.

Around 11:10 p.m., officers responded to the report of an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven in the 12250 block of Tech Road.

Investigators determined that, after entering the store, the suspect walked around to the employee side of the counter, pointed a handgun and took two packs of cigarettes. He then left the scene.

Police described the suspect as a 30 to 40-year-old Black man of medium complexion, with a bald head. He was 5-f0ot-10 to 6-feet tall and weighed around 180 to 200 pounds. He was wearing a black winter coat, gray pants, and black sneakers.
