Tribute to America's Veterans Concert Returns Nov. 6

SILVER SPRING, MD — Silver Spring Town Center will hold its annual Tribute to America's Veterans Concert in the Silver Spring Civic Building on Wednesday, Nov. 6.

The event, which kicks off at 6 p.m., will feature guest speakers, a 21-gun salute by American Legion Post 86, patriotic songs by Rockie Lynne and the W.A. Hough High School Concert Choir, and hit music by Chou Chou and the Imperial Palms.

Maryland state Sen. William Smith Jr. — who recently returned home from deployment —will also be making special remarks.

The event is free and open to everyone. Service members are encouraged to wear their military uniforms.
