Trick-Or-Treat, Win Prizes At BOO! A Safe Halloween Event
At 'BOO! A Safe Halloween Event' in Silver Spring, there will be trick-or-treating fun, a costume contest and professional pumpkin carving.
SILVER SPRING, MD — Get ready for a night of spook-tacular fun on Thursday during "BOO! A Safe Halloween Event." The event, hosted by Ellsworth Place, takes place at 903 Ellsworth Drive from 6 to 8 p.m.
There will be trick-or-treating, a costume contest with prizes, and professional pumpkin carving.
For trick-or-treating: Free buckets will be available for children, so they can go store-to-store for treats.

For costume contest: Judges will award gift cards to children (13 and under) for the best costumes. Costume registration is from 6 to 7 p.m. Judging takes place at 7:30 p.m. and the winners are announced immediately. Participants must be present to win.
For pumpkin carving: Professional artists will carve pumpkins for a free raffle on levels 2 and 4.
