Truck Rams 7-Eleven, ATM Left In Parking Lot In Failed Heist: PD
Montgomery County Police need the public's help finding four suspects they say tried to steal an ATM from a Silver Spring 7-Eleven.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Police are searching for four suspects they say tried to steal an ATM from a Silver Spring 7-Eleven. The Feb. 17 incident was captured on surveillance video, which authorities have released in hopes that the public can help identify the thieves.
Shortly after 4 a.m. on Feb. 17, Montgomery County Police responded to the convenience store located at 10203 New Hampshire Ave. for the report of an attempted theft. Footage of the incident shows one suspect ram a pickup truck through the store's front window while the other three tried dragging the cash dispenser to the parking lot.
The suspects lugging the ATM — who wore masks to conceal their faces — were the only ones seen on camera, police said.

The trio can be seen successfully moving the ATM to the parking lot before fleeing the scene without the cash dispenser.
Police said they found the pickup truck abandoned in Hyattsville later that morning. Investigators determined that the pickup truck was stolen.

Officials published a video — embedded at the bottom of this post — that shows the suspects trying to steal the ATM.
Anyone with information about the suspects or this attempted theft is urged to call police at 240-773-5100. The county's Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest or indictment of these suspects. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
