Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity at our NEW Silver Spring location!

Support Habitat for Humanity Metro Maryland and your local community by volunteering at our NEW Silver Spring ReStore location! ReStore is Habitat’s retail outlet and a vital part of our mission. ReStores sell donated home furnishings and construction materials at a discount in order to raise funds for our mission of providing affordable housing solutions.

Volunteers unload new donations, prep donations for the floor, set up floor displays, maintain general order on the floor, provide customer service and more. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old, or at least 14 years old with a parent or chaperone willing to volunteer alongside them. ReStore is approved for SSL hours and community service hours.

Volunteers are needed from 9 am to 1 pm and 1 pm to 5 pm, Tuesday through Sunday. Volunteers are welcome to sign up for as many or as few shifts as they wish, and a regular commitment is not required.
