Wheaton Murder Charge: Silver Spring Man, 19, Arrested Thursday
Police arrested and charged Silver Spring resident Erik Aguilar, 19, with the murder of Marvin Alexander Mendoza in Wheaton on Aug. 10.
SILVER SPRING, MD — Police charged a 19-year-old from Silver Spring with murdering Marvin Alexander Mendoza, 25, in Wheaton last week.
Police arrested Erik Aguilar and charged him with first-degree murder. He is being held without bond, Montgomery County Police said. Police say they responded to a call about gunshots on Aug. 10, and found Mendoza's body. The medical examiner said it was a homicide.
