Rockville’s Independence Day Celebration is moving to Mattie J.T. Stepanek Park. This new location offers better spectator viewing and ample and convenient parking, as well as a larger fireworks display. The entertainment and fireworks can be viewed from the park grounds. 4th of July Fireworks on the National Mall
Time: At dark, usually around 9:15 p.m. Rain Date: July 5 The fireworks are launched from the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool and light up the sky over the Washington Monument.

Kensington Fourth of July Bike Parade
Saturday, July 4, 9:45 am - 1 pm
The 20th annual Bike Parade will be held on Saturday, July 4, at St. Paul Park. The Bike Parade begins at 10 am. This event is open to all kids who wish to decorate their bike, scooter, wagon or stroller and follow a Kensington Volunteer Fire Department truck through the streets of Kensington.
