Win Free Coffee For A Year At The Dunkin' Grand Opening Friday

SILVER SPRING, MD — The first 100 customers at the grand opening of the Dunkin' and Baskin-Robbins combo store on New Hampshire Avenue could win free coffee for a year, the chain announced. (You have to be over 18 and live in the Silver Spring area to qualify.)

The store is opening on Friday, July 16 at 10 a.m. After the grand opening it will be open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., and will feature chain favorites.

"Dunkin’s signature cold beverages will be served through an innovative tap system serving eight consistently cold drinks, such as coffees, iced teas, Cold Brew, and Nitro Infused Cold Brew," the announcement said. "Crew members will also use top-quality, flavor-maximizing espresso machines to make hand-crafted drinks to order. "

This Dunkin' is "Next Gen" designed, meaning that it has LED lighting, high-efficiency mechanical equipment and low-flow faucets, among other things. Dunkin' said these buildings are 33 percent more efficient than their traditional buildings.

The Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation and local franchisee network will present a $1,000 check to Drive To Cure — a Silver Spring organization that works to provide awareness and funding to research rare kidney cancers — at 11 a.m. on opening day.

This Dunkin' and Baskin-Robbins combo store is at 11140 New Hampshire Ave. in Silver Spring.
