Bill Johnson of Hillwood will share some of his seasonal favorites. The talk will be about plants that show-off when other things are resting in your landscape. Winter has become the time to enjoy the garden without feeling the need to pull weeds.

Bill Johnson has been at Hillwood Estate, Museum and Gardens for 32 years. He is currently a staff horticulturist and volunteer coordinator. Bill began the volunteer program at Hillwood in 1993 and currently manages the horticulture volunteers. He also organizes and oversees in-house training in a wide range of topics as well as recognition events for Hillwood’s volunteers. Bill’s formal horticulture training was mostly at Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania with a Certificate of Merit in Ornamental Plants and several other certifications.
