Friday, November 27

- The Gaithersburg Winter Lights display opens today through December 31. Located at Seneca Creek Park, this drive through display opens nightly at 6 p.m.
- Glen Echo’s Holiday Art Show & Sale opens today at 10 a.m. The show continues through January 10.
- The Puppet Co. Playhouse presents The Nutcracker for the 27th year. Families will enjoy this Washington tradition in Glen Echo Park. Performances today are at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
- The Brookside Garden of Lights display reopens today for the first time since 2013. Enjoy a winter garden walk through the light display starting at 5:30 p.m. today.
- Olney Theatre’s production of Guys and Dolls continues this week. Tonight’s show is at 8 p.m.
- Tenor saxophonist Ronnie Laws performs at the Bethesda Blues & Jazzs Club at 8 p.m.
- The Comedy and Magic Society perform at Gaithersburg Arts Barn at 8 p.m. Prepare to be amazed and amused.

- Hope Garden Children’s Ballet Theatre presents A Christmas Carol at F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre in Rockville at 1:30 and 7 p.m.
