Woman Steals More Than $1K Worth Of Items At Music Store: Police

Police need the public's help finding a woman they say stole more than $1,000 worth of musical instrument accessories at Guitar Center.

SILVER SPRING, MD — A woman accused of stealing more than $1,000 worth of musical instrument accessories at a Silver Spring store was captured in surveillance photos, which Montgomery County Police have released in hopes that the public can help identify the thief.

The incident happened on March 7 inside the Guitar Center music store at 8661 Colesville Rd. According to authorities, the woman stole multiple musical instrument accessories from the retailer.

Detectives believe that the suspect has committed similar thefts at this store.

Anyone with information regarding this suspect is urged to call police at 240-773-6830. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call the county's Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). A cash reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
