• Maryland School Official Gets Five Years In $118K Theft Scheme Involving Funds For Low-Income Students (thebaynet.com) — A major Worcester County Public Schools theft case tied to Snow Hill has ended with a five-year prison sentence for a former assistant superintendent who misused more than $118,000 in school credit card purchases. Prosecutors say she diverted Title I funds meant for low-income elementary students, buying personal items and supplies for her private learning center before an audit exposed the scheme.

He says he'll focus on reducing repeat offenses and pushing for stronger accountability while working closely with lawmakers in Annapolis.
