1st Mariner Bank Opens New Timonium Branch

1st Mariner Bank, the largest independently owned bank in Baltimore City, will relocate its Cockeysville branch to Timonium this month. The new branch will include an interactive technology bar, business center, lounge, conference room, and all-in-one ATMs.

The Timonium branch will implement the latest banking technology to make the customer experience as efficient as possible, while maintaining personalized customer service. Sitting on 3,300 square feet, the branch will include traditional teller stations, along with a technology bar with mobile devices for customers to use to conduct transactions. The devices will also offer digital, interactive education about banking products and financial services for customers and their families.

Six executive offices and a conference room will round out the space. The public, including those who do not bank with 1st Mariner, are welcomed to use the conference space and business center to host business meetings, free of charge. The lounge-like environment at the new branch allows members of the community to have a designated space to join together, even over a cup of coffee. The relocation and redesign is the first branch of what 1st Mariner Bank plans to use as a model for future growth and expansion.

The Cockeysville branch will close at the end of the business day this Friday, November 20, 2015. The new Timonium branch will open at 9:00am on Monday, November 23, 2015.
