A great concert to start your weekend!

The Baltimore Folk Music Society in partnership with Babcock Presbyterian Church will present Deborah Rose from Wales on Friday, October 4 at 8:30PM, doors will open at 8PM. This is the inaugural concert for the 2013-2014 concert series. This series has been called the most affordable, eclectic new acoustic series in the Baltimore area. Deborah Rose is a Welsh singer/songwriter whose emotive, timeless voice has been described by folk legend Judy Collins as one of the finest I’ve ever heard. Deborah supported Ms. Collins on the UK leg of her world tour in 2011.
Deborah’s debut album, "Song Be My Soul" will be released this year. Her guiding light is to serve others by using her voice to reach out, inspire, and touch that place deep in the soul of her audiences. For Deborah music is a gift, and her joy is in sharing it.
