• Barnes & Noble To Open New Baltimore County Branch In November (patch.com) — Book lovers in Lutherville can look forward to a new Barnes & Noble opening this November at Lutherville Station Shopping Center on West Ridgely Road, in the former Borders and RH Outlet space. The Timonium location will be the retailer's third in Baltimore County and comes as the company also plans another shop near the National Aquarium in Baltimore.
   

• Baltimore County residents voice support of Lutherville Station transit resolution (wmar2news.com) — Lutherville residents are backing a proposed transit-oriented development designation for Lutherville Station, which could bring new housing, businesses, and walkable connections to the community. Baltimore County Council will vote on the resolution September 21, a decision that could reshape the long-underused shopping center and better link it to the light rail stop.
   

• After 42 Years in Finance and a Decade at the Helm, First Financial FCU's Eric Church Passes the Torch (thecreditunionconnection.com) — First Financial Federal Credit Union CEO Eric Church will retire October 5 after decades leading the Baltimore County-based institution, which previously moved its headquarters from Lutherville to Sparks. His tenure saw major growth in assets, loans, membership, and staff, and President James Wheeler will assume the combined President and CEO role to continue that trajectory.
