Lutherville resident and 2012 Towson High School graduate James Ferguson completed his training for the United States Marine Corp at Parris Island, SC, graduating as a Marine on September 7, 2012. Private Ferguson chose to serve his country as a Marine, having wanted to be a Marine from the time he was a young boy. "They are the best" he said and he wanted to be part of that legendary experience. Following a short leave time at home, Ferguson will resume his Marine training at the School of Infantry.
