Crash Closes I-83 North Friday Night Near Timonium
Drivers headed north on Interstate 83 in the area of the crash Friday night were detoured.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A crash on Interstate 83 caused the closure Friday night of northbound lanes between the Padonia Road and Timonium Road exits. Northbound traffic on I-83 was detoured onto the Timonium Road exit ramp, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration.
A tractor-trailer jackknifed near the Padonia Road exit, resulting in a fuel spill that required a response from state environmental officials, WJZ reported.
