129th Annual Maryland State Fair

The Horse Show Ring will hold the 4H/FFA horse & pony show - Senior English division at 9am and the lightweight horse pulling contest at 7:30pm. In the Swine Barn, the Berkshire swine show will be at 12:30pm, the Hampshire swine show at 3pm, and the Crossbred Barrow swine show at 7pm.  Sheep shows: other wool & natural colored will take place in the Sheep Barn at 1 pm. The horticulture demonstration will begin at 3:30pm and the "Bake for the Cure" Fleischmann's baking contest will begin at 5:30pm, both in the 4-H/FFA Home Arts Building. The Farm and Garden Building will hold demonstrations for hay & pasture day including the third flower show. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors (62 and older), $3 for children (ages 6-11) and free to children under 5 years of age.
