What the event is:
Two Lutherville moms volunteered last year to put on a 5K to help raise money for the Cool Kids Learning Center. Through their tireless efforts, they helped raise over $15,000! They’re back for a second year, and we are hoping you will join us on Saturday, June 11th.

Who is The Cool Kids Campaign?
A local Cockeysville non-profit organization that seeks to improve the lives of children living with a cancer diagnosis. Their programs focus on several different areas, but their biggest project to date is opening this summer. As you can imagine, children going through chemotherapy spend many weeks outside of school, and they are working to open up a Learning Center in Towson where they can come in and receive free tutoring in whatever subject they need. The goal of the center is to keep the kids current with their grade level so that when they are done with their treatments, they can remain in the same grade as their friends when they return to school.
The center will also help address the social and emotional issues of the disease, as too often the children are confined to either their homes or hospitals with little interaction with their peers.
Come out and join us for a great Saturday morning event!
