ASSISTANCE CENTER OF TOWSON CHURCHES IS 'STRETCHING OUT': GROUNDBREAKING KICKS OFF EXTENSION
Construction begins for expanding the Assistance Center of Towson Churches and a "Groundbreaking Celebration" with light breakfast takes place. Participants in the program will include volunteers and donors who have made the 300-square-foot addition to the cramped and aged facility possible, elected officials, ACTC representatives and founders. ACTC has served the needy in the central Baltimore County community for 27 years. As demand has grown, additional space was needed to fulfill its mission more efficiently and effectively in the years to come.
