Maryland Home & Garden Show

Now in its 30th year, The Maryland Home & Garden Show is celebrating songbirds, the sizzle of grills, and splashes in swimming pools as homeowners emerge from winter hibernation to a “Symphony of Spring” at the Maryland State Fairgrounds for two weekends: March 5-6 and March 11-13.

More than 300 local and national exhibitors will help Do-It-Yourselfers tackle home projects with ease. From baseboards to crown molding, the Maryland Home & Garden Show has homeowners covered with the newest products and services, including tools and equipment, appliances, interior fixtures, landscapers, contractors, and interior designers.

Visitors will happily get lost in the Show’s 19 expansive, fully-landscaped gardens, where they’ll find the latest solutions for outdoor living with creative plantings, outdoor furniture, entertaining solutions, spas, grills, and fire pits. Homeowners will also be on the hunt for three garden gnomes for the chance to win $3,000 toward their electric bill.

The Show’s gardening gurus and D.I.Y. pros will solve home improvement and landscaping quandaries during continuous seminars. Maryland’s most inspired interior designers will offer complimentary consultations to help homeowners refresh their homes for Spring.

Homeowners can decorate their abodes with one-of-a-kind creations from more than 125 craftspeople at the Maryland Spring Craft Show.

During the second weekend of the Show, the Horticulture Hall will be a gardener’s dream, with thousands of award-winning orchid varieties at the Orchid and Bonsai shows, and fun flower arranging seminars from the Designing Divas of the Federated Garden Clubs of Maryland.

Tickets to the Maryland Home & Garden Show are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $3 for kids ages 6-12, and free for children under 6 years old. Admission to the Maryland Spring Craft Show only is $6.

Ticket discounts are available online at www.mdhomeandgarden.com and from participating Pizza Hut locations. A free subscription to Better Homes and Gardens is available with each ticket purchase.
