Join the entire Milkshake band as they celebrate one of their favorite holidays with a Valentine’s Spectacular Concert. Along with Milkshake in concert, there’ll be chocolate kisses from Moo, a chance to buy great books for kids from Usbourne Books, face painting, crafts from Macaroni Kid and other fun activities before the show. As an extra incentive to attend, a portion of the proceeds from books and ticket sales will go to Arts On Stage, a non-profit organization in Maryland presenting live, professional and educational theatre for students.
Arts On Stage, Ltd. has been dedicated to stimulating, educating and promoting an interest in live Theatre for all children throughout the Central Maryland region for the past 21 years. Through its mission to artistically, culturally and educationally enrich the minds of children, Arts On Stage provides the exposure to professional theatrical field trips -- allowing teachers to teach outside of the classroom. In Milkshake's short eight years together, the Grammy-Nominated band has released four award-winning CDs, received a Parent's Choice Silver Award for their DVD Screen Play, and have had their music videos featured on Nick Jr., PBS KIDS and Discovery Kids’ Emmy-winning ToddWorld. Great Day, Milkshake's newest CD for kids and kids at heart, was nominated for a Grammy for “Best Musical Recording for Children” in 2010. Milkshake’s ever-evolving music transcends age, and both younger and older fans will enjoy this special Valentine weekend concert.
