Towson University presents Dr. Thomas in a discussion about The Day a Woodpecker Attacked the Space Shuttle. It will include the story of the STS-70 mission aboard the space shuttle Discovery and the woodpecker that made over 200 holes in its fuel tank. The discussion is part of the Saturday Science Series and will be held in Smith Hall, room 326. Admission is free. Discussions will be held at both 10 am and noon.
