The Roots and Wings Chapter of CUUPs and the Towson Unitarian Universalist is pleased to host Reverend Ed Geraty in a Kirtan on Saturday evening, September 28.
Kirtan is a spiritual practice, originating in India over 5000 years ago. Using drumming, chanting and call and response, Kirtan quiets the conscious mind, allowing the participants to access the higher mind within each of us. You need not be a practitioner of meditation or hold any particular spiritual belief to participate in or benefit from a Kirtan, which has been likened to American Gospel music. All are welcome.
There is no charge for attending, but donations will be gratefully accepted.
