Focused on the guiding principals of beekeeping – this course will help you build a framework to continue your education as a Beekeeper, Honey Bee Steward, or simply a person who recognizes the irreplaceable value honey bees hold in our food system.

• Understanding the players in the hive
• How the hive operates as a collective unit of 50,000 individuals
• Time line of a typical season
• Signs of a healthy hive
• Common Pest and diseases and ways to identify them
• A recap of lessons not to forget, and lessons to explore further
