The Harford Family House in Aberdeen is hosting
"Home Runs for the Homeless", a Home Run Derby to benefit its mission
of helping homeless families transition to stable, permanent housing. You can
get involved by either becoming a sponsor for the event or organizing a
four-person team to compete in the derby. There are many sponsorship
opportunities available, ranging from $150 to $1,500. The registration fee for
a team is $1,000 per team of four. Space is limited for both sponsorships
and teams, and slots are filling up fast!
Many exciting activities have been added this year
including a Baseball Throw, Football Throw, and a Dunking Booth with
Local Politicians/Celebrities. Kids can also sign up to run the bases at
Ripken Stadium like their favorite Ironbirds players.
It is sure to be a great day full of BASEBALL and FUN!
