Lutherville Borders to Close
The nation's second-largest bookstore chain received no offers to save it.
The struggling national bookstore chain Borders Group Inc. will begin closing its remaining store locations—including —after the company failed to obtain a buyer, The Wall Street Journal reports.
The Lutherville Borders location after the company filed for Chapter 11. The company announced yesterday that it will begin closing stores as soon as this Friday.
All of the remaining 399 Borders locations will be closed by September.
