The Lutherville Volunteer Fire Company, an all-volunteer fire company located at 1609 Bellona Avenue, held a groundbreaking ceremony this weekend for an 11,000 square foot addition onto its existing building. Attending were (left to right) Baltimore County Fire Chief John Hohman; Baltimore County Councilman Todd Huff, District 3; Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz; Lutherville Fire Company President Michael Huber; Jane Hays; Lutherville Fire Company Captain Mark Goodman and Gladys Falkenhan. The Mullan Contracting Company has been chosen as the general contracting firm for the $4.2 million project and Manns Woodward Studios is the project architect.
