Old Lutherville House Fire Contained To Basement: Officials

LUTHERVILLE, MD — Firefighters were called to a house fire in Old Lutherville on Monday, Dec. 31, according to officials. Smoke was showing when they arrived around 11 a.m., according to the Lutherville Volunteer Fire Company.

First responders converged in the area of Melancthon Avenue at Kurtz Avenue.

Crews found a small fire in the basement of the home and snuffed it out, the fire company reported.

By 11:37 a.m., the Lutherville Volunteer Fire Company reported the fire had been extinguished.
