Police Obtain Arrest Warrant for At-Large Suspect in Attempted Robbery in Lutherville
Ricky Calvin Tolson, 36, attempted to rob the store at a BP gas station on the 1600 block of York Road last Wednesday afternoon.

The Baltimore County Police Department announced Monday it has obtained an arrest warrant for a suspect linked to a June 17 attempted robbery in Luterville, according to a release from the Baltimore County Government.
The incident reportedly took place at approximately 2 p.m. on June 17. The suspect, later found to be 36-year-old Ricky Calvin Tolson, entered the store at a BP gas station on the 1600 block of York Road, approached the counter with a hand under his shirt implying he was holding a gun, then demanded money and lottery tickets.
Tolson allegedly attempted taking the register, but the cashier resisted, and when two more customers entered the store the suspect fled the scene without taking anything.

The investigation led authorities to Tolson, who is described as a white male standing 5-foot-7, weighing 170 pounds with two tear drop tattoos under his left eye and one tear drop tattoo under his right eye. He also has tattoos spanning his entire left arm and a DMI tattoo on the left side of his neck.
The arrest warrant charges Tolson with armed robbery and related charges, and the incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Robbery Unit.
