Towson University Student Dies in Off-Campus Incident: Police
Officials are investigating the cause of the 18-year-old's death, Baltimore County reports.

A Towson University student died over the weekend at an off-campus apartment, according to the Baltimore County Police Department, which reports the cause of her death remains under investigation.
Julia Margaret Ratnaraj, 18, was found unresponsive when Baltimore County first responders were called to an off-campus apartment in the 300 block of East Joppa Road at 11:38 p.m. on Saturday, the department reported.
People in the apartment told police that Ratnaraj had been drinking, but the cause of death has not been confirmed, according to the report.

First responders took Ratnaraj to St. Joseph Medical Center, where she was declared deceased, the report said.
Ratnaraj lived in the 100 block of Quail Hollow Drive in Sewell, NJ, according to police.

Officials said her body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy, which will identify the cause and manner of death.
