3 Armed Robberies In One Week In Towson Area: Police
Police said a handful of armed robberies occurred in Towson this week. In addition, there were two assaults and one burglary.

TOWSON, MD — There have been three armed robberies in the past week in the Towson precinct, according to police. Two of those victimized were businesses. In addition, police said an employee at the Towson Town Center was assaulted.
Here is a list of the recent incidents reported in the Towson area. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Three Robberies
The 7-Eleven in the 6300 block of Sherwood Road was robbed at gunpoint. The owner refused, and the suspect left on a bicycle. The armed robbery occurred at 10:36 p.m. on Oct. 24.

Edible Arrangements in the 6300 block of York Road was robbed at gunpoint. After taking cash, the suspect left on foot at 3:37 p.m. on Oct. 22.
Four people were robbed at gunpoint on the street in the 200 block of Donnybrook Lane. Threee suspects took their cell phones and wallets, then left in a vehicle driven by a fourth suspect. The armed robbery happened at 11:31 p.m. on Oct. 19.
Two Assaults
An employee at Forever 21 at the Towson Town Center was assaulted when trying to stop two suspected shoplifters. The incident occurred at 3:20 p.m. on Oct. 24. The suspects left in a vehicle.
There was a first-degree assault in the 400 block of York Road at 1:45 a.m. on Oct. 21. The suspected assailant ran away and was quickly taken into custody.
One Burglary
A bicycle was taken from an unlocked garage in the 900 block of Rolandvue Road, where cash was also taken from an unlocked vehicle. The burglary happened between 10 p.m. on Oct. 22 and 4 a.m. on Oct. 23.
