3 More Charged In Loch Raven Murder Reportedly Linked To MS-13

TOWSON, MD — Three people are charged with murder in the death of a man whose body was found outside an apartment building on Loch Raven Boulevard. They join seven others already charged in the homicide.

Daniel Alejandro Alvarado Cuellar, 21, was found in the grass near an apartment building in the 8400 block of Loch Raven Boulevard at 3:31 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31.

Police said Cuellar lived in the 8400 block of Loch Raven Boulevard and died from blunt force injuries in what the medical examiner ruled was a homicide.

A group of gang members watched him before he left a laundromat that night, then followed him home, where multiple people were waiting and stabbed him multiple times, Fox 45 reported.

A total of 10 alleged MS-13 members have now been charged in the death of Cuellar, who police said was believed to be a member of rival gang 18th Street, according to The Baltimore Sun. The newspaper reported he may have flashed a sign for his gang that motivated the group of MS-13 members to kill him.

ICE lodged detainers against six of the seven against whom charges were lodged last week, WBAL reported.

These are the three who were charged this week, according to police:

• Hugo Leonel Martinez-Vasquez, 22, of the 300 block of Limestone Valley Drive, 21030
• Jose Alexi Villacorta-Rivas, 19, of the 10000 block of Cranbrook Hills Place, 21030
• Yoni Membreno-Parada, 17, of the 10000 block of Cranbrook Hills Place, 21030

Martinez-Vasquez, Villacorta-Rivas and Membreno-Parada are being held without bail following Sept. 11 bail review hearings.

All of those charged are being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

Investigators say they do not anticipate making any more arrests.
