30 Free Meal Sites In Baltimore County Open Saturday
The National Guard will help Baltimore County distribute prepacked meals in an expanded weekend food distribution program.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Baltimore County businesses are making 23,100 frozen prepacked meals that will be distributed for free this weekend in a newly expanded program to keep people fed.
These businesses are preparing the meals, according to Baltimore County government: Black & Gold Catering in Towson, Classic Catering in Owings Mills, Martin's Caterers in Windsor Mill, Rouge Fine Catering in Hunt Valley, and Zeffert and Gold in Gwynn Oak.
This weekend the county has expanded its free meal distribution from 11 sites to 30, after the National Guard and county officials analyzed prior meal distribution data to identify 19 new sites where meals will be provided. Guard members will help distribute the frozen, prepacked meals on Saturday, April 11.

Weekday meal distribution will continue at seven recreation and parks locations with assistance from the Maryland National Guard as well.
"Thanks to the Guard’s support, we can do even more for Baltimore County’s families," Olszewski said. "We’ll continue to work hand-in-hand to help provide food security, reduce the spread of the virus, and save lives."
