39 EMTs Graduate from Baltimore County Fire-Rescue Academy

The ceremony took place at Loch Raven High School.

A group of nearly 40 emergency medical technicians graduated from the Baltimore County Fire-Rescue Academy Monday night in a ceremony at Loch Raven High School in Towson.

The 39 recruits included 22 men and 17 women, according to Baltimore County public safety officials:

The group started training on Aug. 11, officials said. Now, they will practice as emergency medical technicians assigned to career stations around the county on a probationary status for two years, officials said.

Fire Chief John Hohman was scheduled to speak at the graduation ceremony, at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15, at Loch Raven High School, 1212 Cowpens Avenue, in Towson.
