7 Hospitalized After Towson Deck Collapse: Officials
The incident happened at The Colony at Kenilworth apartments.

A deck collapse pinned one person, who had life-threatening injuries, and sent six others to the hospital on Monday night from The Colony at Kenilworth apartments, according to WBAL.
At approximately 6:18 p.m. on Labor Day, first responders were called to the complex off Kenilworth Avenue in Towson for a deck collapse at a second-story apartment on Kenlawn Court, according to the report from Baltimore County officials.
The deck fell approximately eight feet, the report said.

One person was in critical condition, four suffered serious injuries that were not life-threatening and two had minor injuries, according to WUSA9.
The most seriously injured individual was pinned under the deck when firefighters arrived, according to WBAL, which reported preliminary investigation indicated the deck may have been overloaded and investigators are looking into the cause of the collapse.

Police reported that there were 100 to 150 people in the area when officers arrived, and a witness said that four to six people were on the deck when it collapsed, according to the report from Baltimore County police and fire officials.
Five of the victims were Towson University students, Baltimore County police and fire officials reported.
