Adult Daycare Bus Crash: Second Person Died, Police Said
Investigators determined a cause in the fatal Dulaney Valley Road crash, police report.

BALTMORE COUNTY, MD — Two people have died and a cause has been determined in the October crash between an adult daycare bus and a Hyundai Elantra on Dulaney Valley Road, according to police. One victim died the day of the Oct. 26 crash and another passed away over the weekend.
Ailian Peng, 79, of the 400 block of Virginia Avenue, died on Saturday, Nov. 4, at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, according to police. Determinations on a cause and manner of death will be made following an autopsy by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
One person died the day of the collision, which occurred at 9:12 a.m. on Oct. 26 along Dulaney Valley Road at Ridgely Road.

Guixian Shen, 88, of the 400 block of Virginia Avenue in Towson, was pronounced deceased after being taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, according to police.
Nine others were injured, officials said, including the driver of the Hyundai Elantra.

"Investigators have determined that the crash occurred when the Hyundai crossed the center line, colliding head-on with the adult daycare bus," police said in a statement on Nov. 6.
