In Alley Shooting, Two Charged with Attempted Murder: Police

A dispute that sent one to the hospital also landed two men in jail, Baltimore County police reported.

PARKVILLE, MD — Two people are being held without bail in connection with a shooting in the Towson precinct on Monday.

Shyheim Alshameek McCoy, 18, of the 2400 block of Perring Manor Road, and Andre Malik Dukes, 21, of the 1200 block of Halstead Road, have been charged with attempted first-degree murder and related offenses.

Authorities allege they were responsible for shooting a 19-year-old in an alleyway over a dispute Monday afternoon in the 1100 block of Pelhamwood Road.

At 12:19 p.m., officials responded to a shooting and found the victim was shot in the thigh. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, officials reported.
