Police Issue Amber Alert for Missing Baltimore County Girl

The 11-year-old may be in a black Dodge Durango with Maryland tags that say '5AJ4458.'

Authorities with the Maryland State Police have issued an Amber alert for a missing Baltimore County girl.

UPDATE—Police: Missing Girl May Be Connected to Homicide Investigation

Caitlyn Marie Virts, 11, was last seen at 7 a.m. Thursday in the Dundalk area, police said.

She is described as a white female who is 5' tall, 80 pounds and possibly wearing glasses.

Officials think the girl is with her father, Timothy Howard Virts, 38, who is driving a black 1999 Dodge Durango with Maryland license plate number 5AJ4458, according to police.

The father is a white man who is 6'3" and 280 pounds, police said.
