TOWSON, MD — Five students are facing possible charges after they were involved in a fight at a bus stop in Towson, according to police.
The incident occurred on Monday around 3:40 p.m. near a bus stop on York and Lambourn roads in Towson, police said. It's unclear what led up to the fight.
Initially, police took nine students between the ages of 11 and 14 into custody following the altercation.
On Tuesday, police said a second incident took place inside Dumbarton Middle School while some of the same students were in a meeting with the school resource officer.
During the meeting, police said a student and their parent left the office and became involved in a physical altercation with another student in a hallway.
The parent was later removed from the school, police said.
Baltimore County police are working in coordination with Baltimore County Public Schools, which is conducting its own administrative investigation.
