Two People Wanted In Armed Carjacking Near Mall: Police

Police said officials are searching for two individuals who took part in an armed carjacking Saturday afternoon near the Towson Town Center.

TOWSON, MD — Baltimore County police are investigating an armed carjacking that happened over the weekend near the Towson Town Center.

The department said in a release that the incident occurred Saturday around 3:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road.

At the scene, officers learned that a man had been held at gunpoint as his car was being stolen by two people who were known to him. Authorities did not explain how the three individuals knew each other.

While investigators were able to identify the wanted individuals, officials are still waiting to obtain arrest warrants.

Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Carjacking Unit and the Towson Town Center security are investigating the case.

The police department said the investigation remains ongoing.
